Sandy Shish - Strawberry Banana x Strawberry Sugar
Pictured is the actual phenotype which has been used to create some of the crosses featured on this site.
Indica/Sativa 62.5/37.5 Hybrid
Sister of Gutso and initially thought to be inferior until chopped, cured, tested and smoked. She is dominant in her own ways and thankfully, I was able to shotgun clone a bottom branch when I saw the unbelievable amounts of frost and despite being seeded, she came back at 26.6% THC. She not much on terpenes in terms of smell, but on the nose she has faint tones of old fruit snacks mixed with matcha tea(like one of those healthy ones that are real dried berry fruits). On the break up, she smells like licorice but what remarkable is her taste far exceeds the expectation you would have based on her smell. She breaks up and has a sandy texture which is from the crazy amounts of trichomes she has. The smoke is a wide array of citrus and berries and will pleasantly surprise you. Crazy structure, one of the longest stretchers I have grown so definitely blast light intensities week 1-4 in bloom or place her directly under the center of the light if growing multiple strains to keep her node spacing down. She has the ability to stack like shish kabobs and the colas pictured next to a ruler are actually her seeded buds. Her high is a perfect combo of her mother and father, which is more indica based and relaxing despite looking more like a sativa structurally. Because of the lack of smell, she was never selfied but I am hoping her best features will carry over into some of her crosses.
This girl was grown using the GWM formula available here.
